🥛 Greek Yogurt: Provides protein and calcium and adds a delicious creamy texture.

🫐 Blueberries: Naturally provide fibre, vitamin C and other plant nutrients.

🍓 Strawberries: A source of vitamin C and fibre, while adding natural sweetness and freshness.

🌴 Date Syrup: Adds natural sweetness and contributes small amounts of minerals and fibre.

🍫 Dark Chocolate: Adds an extra layer of rich chocolate flavour and, depending on the cocoa content, can provide fibre and naturally occurring plant compounds.

Tips for Best Results

🥣 Make it a little more runny than you think. The oats and chia seeds will absorb quite a lot of the milk overnight, so the mixture may look slightly too loose when you first prepare it. Don't worry — it will thicken beautifully in the fridge.

🥛 Adjust in the morning. If your overnight oats are thicker than you like, simply stir in a splash of milk before serving until you reach your favourite consistency.

🍓 Add fresh berries just before serving. Keeping some of the strawberries and blueberries for the morning gives you a lovely fresh, juicy contrast to the creamy cacao oats.

🍫 Want it extra indulgent? Add the melted dark chocolate just before serving for a delicious chocolate topping that sets slightly on the cold oats.
